What We Do

African Cultural Education

At AfriKidZ, we are dedicated to providing children with a comprehensive education in African culture. Through our programs, we offer engaging lessons and activities that help children learn about the diverse cultures, geography, and languages of Africa. Our aim is to connect children with their African heritage, fostering a strong sense of identity and pride.

Language and Identity

Our Culture & Language Club is designed to help children embrace their native languages, fostering a stronger sense of identity and belonging in a multicultural world. We believe that language is a powerful tool for cultural preservation, and through this club, children gain the confidence to celebrate and share their cultural heritage with others.

OUR HISTORY

AfriKidZ Club, formerly known as Ile Eko C.I.C., started in 2018 by promoting Yoruba culture and language to young children. Our success led to the expansion of our scope to include other African cultures, resulting in AfriKidZ Club in December 2019. We were recognized for our work in the community with a short-listing for the Thames Valley Business and Community Award in 2019.
